About Us
Mountain Grove Baptist Church is located in the Mountain View community of Catawba County, North Carolina, just south of Hickory. The Church has been a part of Mountain View since 1881, when a brush arbor was built to provide a place of worship for families in the community around Bakers Mountain.

Programs in the church include Sunday School, the music program consisting of a seasonal sanctuary choir, praise team, and several instrumentalists, the EPIC Student Ministry youth program, the Faith JAM children's program, and Mission Friends for preschoolers. Wednesday night activities include the Wednesday night supper, youth and children's meetings, and an adult Bible study led by the pastor.

Morning worship is at 10:30 on Sunday mornings, and consists of contemporary and traditional music, the greeting of members and visitors by the congregation, offerings, and a sermon delivered by the pastor. Children eight and under may attend Children's Church during the worship service. A nursery is provided for infants up to four-year-old.
