VBS Information
This year VBS is July 13th–17th from 5:15 p.m. until 8:45 p.m.
Dinner will start at 5:15 p.m. with VBS being 6 p.m.–8:45 p.m.
for ages Pre-K through completion of 6th grade.
We are collecting school supplies
for stuffing backpacks!
Mountain Grove will be collecting school supplies for our area schools and stuffing backpacks! We will be collecting school supplies through August 2nd, and our youth and kids will be stuffing them on Wednesday night, August 5th. Needed items are: binders, notebook paper, composition books, crayons, colored pencils, markers, erasers, scissors, gluesticks, pencil pouches, and pens. Kids will also be collecting items in VBS! For Mountain Grove people:
Come join us for a church-wide night out at the ball field! The Hickory Crawdad's will be playing on July 25th followed by a concert by Christian artist Josh Baldwin, the singer of "Made for More"! We have 25 tickets available on a first-come first-serve basis. Tickets are $14.00 each. This is going to be a fun night out of fellowship and praising God through great worship songs! Annual Baby Shower
Mountain Grove is participating in Serve NC, a week for churches in North Carolina to serve folks in their community. One of the projects we have scheduled is our annual baby shower for Pregnancy Care Center and Fostering Hope. This is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4th. We will begin with a covered dish supper at 6 p.m. Meat and drinks will be provided by the Church. Please bring a side dish. A representative of Fostering Hope will be our guest speaker. Needed items include 4 and 5 diapers, baby clothes, diaper cream, blankets, sheets, towels and washcloths. All items should be unwrapped.
